PRODUCTION UNDERWAY ON DIVE CLUB IN PICTURESQUE PORT DOUGLAS
Cast and crew have launched head first into production on teen mystery drama DIVE CLUB, shooting in Far North Queensland.
The 12 episode series is the latest project from The Steve Jaggi Company, and the fourth production undertaken by the company during the global COVID-19 pandemic. DIVE CLUB is set for worldwide release in 2021, screening in more than 190 countries as a Netflix original. Ahead of its Netflix release, DIVE CLUB will premiere to Australian audiences on Network 10.
QUEENSLAND-MADE NETFLIX SERIES DIVE CLUB TO FILM IN FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND
A 12-episode teen mystery drama by Brisbane-based production house The Steve Jaggi Company will start filming in Port Douglas late October, with support from the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland.. Directed by Rhiannon Bannenberg, Hayley Macfarlane, and Christine Luby, Dive Club will be released in 2021 on an Australian commercial broadcaster, and outside Australia to a global audience of over 190 countries on Netflix.
HEART-STOPPING THRILLER KIDNAPPED SHOOTING IN FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND
Production is underway on the thriller KIDNAPPED, a feature film currently shooting in Port Douglas and surrounds. KIDNAPPED is the latest project from The Steve Jaggi Company, and is a co-production with Canadian production company Sepia Films. The film is written by Australian writer Shanrah Wakefield and directed by Canadian director Vic Sarin.
THE DOG DAYS OF CHRISTMAS COMMENCES SHOOTING ON THE GOLD COAST
Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast has been transformed into Christmas in Vermont, with The Dog Days of Christmas filming at the park and surrounding hinterland region. The latest feature from The Steve Jaggi Company, The Dog Days of Christmas is a feel-good romance written by Holly Hester, directed by Tori Garrett (Don’t Tell), and starring Australian actors Georgia Flood (American Princess) and Ezekiel Simat (Lambs of God). The film will be released in cinemas 2021.
CAMERAS ROLL ON THIS LITTLE LOVE OF MINE IN FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND
Production on romantic feature film This Little Love of Mine has kicked off this week in Cairns, Far North Queensland. The film sees Australian actors Saskia Hampele (The Heights) and Liam McIntyre (Spartacus: Vengeance) stepping in to the lead roles, starring as two childhood friends who reconnect in unexpected circumstances on the tropical island of Sapphire Cove, where they grew up.

ROMANCE ON THE MENU, the new romantic comedy from The Steve Jaggi Company has commenced shooting this week in Brisbane and surrounds. This feel-good, culinary rom-com is directed by Rosie Lourde (Deadhouse Dark, Breach, Starting from Now) and written by Casie Tabanou and Alison Spuck (Back of the Net).

Shooting has commenced in Brisbane this week on the Young Adult feature film Swimming for Gold, starring U.S. actor Peyton List (Jessie, Bunk’d) in the lead role. List plays Claire Carpenter, a 17-year-old elite swimmer who is reluctantly sent to Australia to coach a boys’ swim team, following a jet ski accident that left her with a fear of the water.
