In addition to production, The Steve Jaggi Company has expanded its post-production and distribution capabilities. Through a group of three companies, it now supports other filmmakers through state-of-the-art post production facilities at Serve Chilled, and through the distribution arm of the business, Athabasca Film.
The Steve Jaggi Company
The production arm of the group, The Steve Jaggi Company has established itself internationally as an innovative, resilient and reliable production partner.
Established in 2001, SJc initially produced indie dramas including Circle of Lies, Embedded, Ambrosia and Chocolate Oyster, before steadily carving a niche in young adult and romance with films such as Swimming for Gold and This Little Love of Mine - the first Australian feature film to enter production since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Serve Chilled is our wholly owned, independently managed post-production facility. Based in Brisbane, the facility is the only one in Queensland (and one of only four across the entire country) to be individually certified by Dolby and listed on their registrar of world-class post-production facilities.
Serve Chilled boasts a Dolby Vision HDR grading suite capable of handling uncompressed 8k vision, coupled with 4k SDR grading suites, multiple avid rooms alongside VFX machines and protools audio suites.
Full-time admin and coordination staff manage the facility and ensure smooth delivery to studio partners.
Serve Chilled has successfully delivered films to Netflix, Disney, Lifetime, Hallmark, MarVista Entertainment, Amazon, Bankside and other AAA studios, distributors and international sales agents.
Athabasca Film distributes quality feature films and series across Australian and New Zealand cinemas and broadcasters.
Established in 2017, Athabasca Film handles national film distribution and marketing activities for both The Steve Jaggi Company and Serve Chilled.
The company is named after the famed Athabasca Glacier, located in Alberta, Canada.
